Meet the Jarrods Family! We’re proud of the fact that we consider the team at Jarrods to be one big family. So we thought we’d start introducing them. Meet Tony, our new Technical Designer.

Name? Antony, but I prefer Tony.

Job Title? Technical Designer

How long have you worked at Jarrods? Ive just started, so I’m keen to get going!

What does a typical day involve for you? Well so far I’m learning about the new design software that will help me to create all the beautiful bespoke staircases that we make here!

What’s the best thing about working at Jarrods? It has to be the variety of jobs we undertake, the quality of the products the team uses and the staff. There really is a family feel here!

Which projects are you most looking forward to? I’m definitely looking forward to working on the grand and spectacular staircases, but I’m also really excited to be programming the advanced CNC machinery to help the production team, and improve efficiency even further.

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working? I love the outdoors, so exploring the beautiful coast and mountains of Wales, whether that be on my motorbike or hiking on foot, it always uplifts my spirit.

Tell us one surprising thing about yourself? I like to go wild swimming! So any chance I get I’ll be jumping into a lake, river or sea, assuming it’s warm enough!

Just for fun, tell us your favourite film, but replace one word with something related to stairs! Hmm, that’s a tough one as I have so many, but one of my favourites is ‘Touching the Void’ which is all about an incredible ascent ; )
