The Jarrods Family is expanding! We’ve always been proud of the fact that we’re like one big family here, and over the past year or so we’ve been introducing all our lovely members. This week its the turn of our new Junior Technical Designer Hannah.

Job Title? Junior Technical Designer

How long have you worked at Jarrods? I’ve worked at Jarrods for a month! I’m a Newbie

What does a typical day involve for you? A typical day for me at the moment involves playing around with the different design software, drawing up my designs and creating 3D visuals. As a bit of added fun I then get chance to bring these deigns to life with spending time with Nicole downstairs in the workshop! With a background in furniture design and make I really enjoy getting my hands dirty and getting involved with the making process too! 

What’s the best thing about working at Jarrods? The best thing about working for Jarrods is the warm office. Other perks are also the friendly staff we have here that makes working as team easy, and the opportunities which enable me to get creative. I feel like anything is possible here! 

What Projects are you most looking forward to?  I’m most looking forward to the bespoke furniture projects as my real passion is furniture design, but to be able to expand my design knowledge and learn about staircases too is something I’m really excited about!

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working? When I’m not working I enjoy relaxing with friends and family, and spending days at the beach, especially when the surf is good! 

Tell us one surprising thing about yourself?  I lived in Bondi, Australia for 6 months where I managed a Hawaiian restaurant.
